City Still Leading Gold Standings in Popnas XIII

One day ahead of the closing of 2015 National Student Games (Popnas) XII, Jakarta is still leading gold standings. Until Wednesday night (9/16), the contingent succeeded to collect 51 gold, 30 silver, and 28 bronze medals. 

Today, I'm accompanying the students to perform. Hopefully, we could motivate them to give the best performance

The second place is still West Java with 38 gold, 22 silver, and 40 bronze medals. 

Head of Jakarta Sports and Youth Department, Firmansyah Wahid disclosed will try hard to maintain the first place until the competition is ended and becoming the overall champion. 

"Today, I'm accompanying the students to perform. Hopefully, we could motivate them to give the best performance," he expressed, Thursday (9/17). 

As for the sport branches that were predicted potentially able to collect more gold medals are karate, men and women's basketball and badminton. 

"We hope to collect 61 gold medals,"
