The North Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency has noted that as many as 430 trees in its region have been pruned during October 1-26.
It is done to anticipate fallen tree and to optimize street light lighting
Putut Widya Martata, Sub-agency Head of North Jakarta Parks and Urban Forest said those trees were pruned, as they were prone to fall and disturb public facilities.
"It is done to anticipate fallen tree and to optimize street light lighting," he expressed, Tuesday (10/27).
He explained it was a routine activity and also done to follow up on citizen complaints.
"Apart from the city level, we are also alerting personnel in sub-district area to be more responsive," he stated.
