According to him, its existence could support the islands people in transactions, especially those related to money and goods remittance services, as well as disbursement of funds for various central government programs in cooperation with PT Pos Indonesia.

In the meantime, Jakarta's PT Pos Indonesia Regional 4 Head Onni Hadiyono expressed the building was the second branch office in Thousand Islands after Pramuka Island.

"Hopefully the hopes of all many people here will be fulfilled, we can rebuild branch offices on other residential islands," he stated.
