28 RPTRAs in South Jakarta Reopened with Strict Health Protocols

As many as 28 of 61 Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s in South Jakarta have reopened to public. But, only two of many facilities in RPTRAs that can be used, namely reflexology park and jogging track.

Number of visitors is also limited only 50 percent of capacity with age from 9  to under 60 years old

South Jakarta Empowerment, Children Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-agency Head, Fathur Rohim conveyed, his side is still implementing strict health protocols in RPTRA areas to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"We apply strict health protocols. Number of visitors is also limited only 50 percent of capacity with age from 9  to under 60 years old," he explained, Friday (10/23).

His side can't reopen the other 33 RPTRAs in 8 sub-districts because those areas are in the COVID-19 red zones.

In details, 8 RTPRAs are located in Pesanggrahan, 2 RPTRAs in Kebayoran Baru, 2 RPTRAs in Tebet, 1 RPTRA in Mampang Prapatan, 7 RPTRAs in Cilandak, 5 RPTRAs in Pasar Minggu, 7 RPTRAs in Jagakarsa, and 1 RPTRA in Setiabudi.

"33 RPTRAs which are currently closed to public may be opened immediately if the areas have been declared safe from COVID-19," he asserted.
