"The number is still lower than last year on regular days," he said, Tuesday (10/20).

He explained that it was because the number of visitors every day was only 400-700 people during transition period. On the weekend, his party managed to absorb 3,000 on Saturday and 7,000 on Sunday.

"Prior to the pandemic, its number on regular days reached 4,000-5,000 and 20,000-40,000 on the weekend," he told.

While, TMII COVID-19 Task Force Chairman Diono added, every visitor who came was required to comply with 3M health protocols.

Not only that, his party also set up three heath posts for visitors and employees who were sick or had an accident while visiting TMII. They could seek treatment at the post for free.

Those posts were located near the main door, precisely in the northern parking area, near the Bekisar Park integrated platform and at Graha Arsipel.
