The Thousand Islands Regency administration held a virtual socialization about Gubernatorial Regulation number 77/2020 on Waste Management in RW.
This socialization will be continued until the end of this year
Its socialization was led by the Thousand Islands Economic Administration and Development Assistant Iwan P Samosir and followed by representatives from regional apparatus organization (OPD).
"Waste management will be based on the community at the RW level, so it is important to involve officials in urban villages and sub-districts for sustainable coaching," the assistant expressed, Wednesday (9/30).
Based on number 77/2020, he assessed, waste management would be carried out at the RW level with a community-based management structure accompanied by a PJLP under the Environmental Agency in each urban village.
"This socialization will be continued until the end of this year," he stated.
