Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Vice Chairman Mohammad Taufik, appreciated the performance of funeral officers who work specifically to bury the COVID-19 victims' bodies at the Pondok Rangon Public Cemetery (TPU), East Jakarta.

According to him, they are part of the health worker element who is in charge of being at the forefront in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

He uttered the city administration could soon provide more protective health gears (APD) in order to minimize the danger and risks that occur when burying the bodies of COVID-19 victims.
"I also suggest that there should be more incentives for these funeral officers," he stressed.
