Indonesia Health Volunteers (Rekan) supports Jakarta Government's decision to reimpose the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Jakarta.
" We support this decision in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission"
Indonesia Rekan Chairperson, Agung Nugroho conveyed, emergency brake policy drawn by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan was considered appropriate to reduce number of COVID-19 cases that have increased rapidly in the past weeks.
"The increasing COVID-19 transmission cases in Jakarta is the reason for government to reimpose PSBB in the capital. We support this decision in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission," he asserted, on Thursday (9/10).
Indonesia Rekan, he continued, expected residents to be more discipline in implementing health protocols while doing their activities outside.
"We are optimistic that support from all parties for the emergency brake policy can reduce the COVID-19 transmission cases in Jakarta," he closed.
