Central Jakarta Government distributed hundreds portions of meats packed in bamboo baskets (bongsang) to the Other Individual Service Providers (PJLP) personnel and people who live around the local mayor's office.

West Jakarta Assistant for Administration and People's Welfare (Askesra), Muhammad Fahmi explained, his side has slaughtered 45 sacrificial animals (qurban), consisting 25 cows and 20 goats. The meat was packed using bongsang and distributed to the locals and PJLP personnel.
"In total, we distribute 900 portions of meat packed in bongsang," he conveyed, Monday (8/3).
This year, bongsang is used as plastic bags replacement to pack the sacrificial animals meat. Because it is considered environmentally friendly and it can be recycled.
"We have used bongsang from last year. Besides, sacrificial meat distribution no longer uses plastic bag in accordance with government regulations," he closed.
