At least 2,548 people in West Jakarta have got sanctions after violating the phase I transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB) rules, precisely since July 17 until now.
Sanctions are given in the form of social work and administrative fines
"Sanctions are given in the form of social work and administrative fines," said West Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tamo Sijabat, Wednesday (7/29).
He explained most violators were in Kalideres Sub-district (462 people), followed by Taman Sari Sub-district (434 people), Kembangan Sub-district (335 people), Tambora Sub-district (316 people), Palmerah Sub-district (296 people).
There were also Kebon Jeruk Sub-district (225 people), Grogol Petamburan Sub-district (140 people) and Cengkareng Sub-district (127 people). While for the city level, there were 213 people.
"From administrative fines, we have managed to collect Rp 174,600,000 where its payment is via Bank DKI," he told.
He added, this action was according to Gubernatorial Regulation number 51/2020 on the transitional PSBB and number 41/2020 on sanctions for PSBB violators in Jakarta.
