Jakarta Capital Investment and One-stop Integrated Services Agency (PMPTSP) is conducting jemput bola system and simplification of small and medium-sized enterprises (IUMK) procedure.

" The flow of services is shorter in terms of the time of issuing license and simplification of licensing requirements"

According to Benni Agus Candra, Head of Jakarta PMPTSP Agency, there was a change in the concept of IUMK issuance, which means his side would use AJIB services that would visit UMK locations in accordance with PUMK data or Jakpreneur participants to then be assisted in proposing an application for IUMK.

"The flow of services is shorter in terms of the time of issuing license and simplification of licensing requirements. To propose it, we only ask for identity documents such as ID card," he stated, Tuesday (7/21).

Afterwards, AJIB officers would take photos of the applicant and photos of the place of business for importing application data in the IUMK licensing system.

He went to say that the Urban Village PMPTSP Executing Unit Head would carry out administrative research and IUMK licensing technical research to be approved/rejected by the IUMK application.

"Publishing IUMK only takes hours or one working day," he told.

He added the micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) had an important role in supporting the growth of Jakarta's economy, which was able to provide expansion in employment opportunities and mobilize people to conduct productive economic activities and contribute to the growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Yet during the pandemic, the UMKM business was weakening due to a turnover decline, production activity was stopped, until it was forced to lay off thousands of workers.

"This IUMK relaxation is an effort by the Jakarta Provincial Government to stimulate them (UMKM) revive their business," he said.
