Thousand Islands Regency received 5 hand washing facilities from Chinese Indonesian Association (INTI) at Marina Port, Ancol, North Jakarta.
We will place it in five main ports in inhabited islands
Thousand Island Regent, Husein Murad appreciated this assistance and hoped it could be use to prevent COVID-19 transmission in Thousand Islands.
"We will place it in five main ports in inhabited islands thus the locals and tourists can wash their hands before going up and after getting off the ship," he mentioned,
Previously, INTI has provided another assistance in form of personal protective equipment (PPE) for health workers and staple food packages for Thousand Islands residents.
INTI Deputy Secretary General, Candra Jap conveyed, hand washing facilities were given to facilitate one of health protocols in order to maintain cleanliness.
"Hopefully it can be useful for local residents and tourists who visit Thousand Islands," he mentioned.
