Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration (Nakertrans) and Energy Agency stopped operation of 116 companies or workplaces that are not excluded in the Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 33/2020 concerning the Implementation of Large-scale Social Restrictions in Handling COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.

Nakertrans and Energy Agency Head, Andry Yansyah mentioned, according to data, there were 9,533 workers affected by the companies' temporary closure.
"4 of 116 companies should be closed because some of the employees are exposed to COVID-19 but still carry out business activities," he said, Thursday (4/30).
Since the beginning of PSBB implementation until April 29, his side has monitored and listed 703 companies that violate the PSBB regulations.
Meanwhile, there are 462 companies in excluded sector with total 55,628 workers that have been warned and educated because they haven't implemented health protocol thoroughly.
"We also warned 125 companies in excluded sector but got license from Industry Ministry and continued their business activities. They are being warned because they haven't implemented health protocol thoroughly, such as maintaining physical distance for their workers," he asserted.
According to him, if the companies are categorized in excluded sector and received operational permit from Industry Ministry, his side can only give warning, guidance, and makes a report. Because only Industry Ministry that can impose the sanctions.
"Health protocol can run effectively if accompanied by three restrictions for employees, work hours, and operational facilities," he informed.
