Regarding the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) status in Matraman Sub-district, around 80 joint officers under East Jakarta administration conduct sweeping in crowded places such as Jangkrik Market in Pisangan Baru Urban Village, Pramuka Bird Market and Palmeriam Market. 

In the field, they socialize the implementation of PSBB and health protocols such as the use of masks, washing hands, social distancing and so on. At Jangkrik Market, there are three stalls that have stickers after breaking the rules, namely cosmetics, furniture and clothing stores.

"At Pramuka Bird Market, there are still many who sell birds. They must be closed and sealed temporarily according to the applicable procedures," he expressed, on the sidelines of sweeping action at the location.

He expressed the sealed business places will be closely watched. If they still operate, a further trial in the form of judicial trial will be given for fine or other sanctions as a deterrent effect.

East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief Comr. Pol. Arie Ardian Rishadi said police and army fully support it and urge the community to comply with the rules in a bid to stop the coronavirus spread.

"We still take a persuasive and communicative approach. If there is still a violation, we will revoke the trade permit until the criminal process. This is our last way to stop the violators," he asserted.

Military District Command (Dandim) 0505/East Jakarta Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Mahfud As'at added his side fully supports the city policy in implementing PSBB.

"We entrust the control to Satpol PP. If there is resistance and criminal offenses, the police will process it. But if there are army members playing here, that is our business," he uttered.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head Budi Novian expressed his side smells three markets that are still open.

"They are our target today, moreover we still find the crowds. The point is we will seal business places that are still operating," he stated.
