The South Thousand Islands Sub-district has tightened the movement of its citizens related to the designation of the red zone for Tidung Island region.

" Except logistical transports, ambulance and corpse vessels"

South Thousand Islands Sub-district Head Angga Saputra said his side has called on citizens and urban village apparatuses not using sea transportation, either it is private or public vessels, to enter and exit the islands.

"Except logistical transports, ambulance and corpse vessels," he asserted, Monday (4/27).

It is valid from today until 14 days ahead after seeing the existing conditions related to the spread of COVID-19 in South Thousand Islands.

His party has also instructed to massively activate and increase the number of COVID-19 emergency posts on Tidung Island.

"Including supervision and additional personnel," he stressed.

As for the information, the Thousand Islands status has now entered the red zone after 10 positive COVID-19 patients on Tidung Island were detected, from April 11 to the present. All of them have been evacuated and treated at Kemayoran Athlete's Homestead, Central Jakarta.
