The Jakarta Council (DPRD) plenary session on Monday (4/6) has declared Ahmad Riza Patria from Gerindra faction as the new Jakarta Vice Governor replacing Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno who resigned in 2018.
Ahmad Riza Patria won 81 out of 100 votes from total legislators who vote
Ahmad Riza Patria who was the former chairman of Jakarta DPPI KNPI in 2002 - 2005 won 81 out of 100 votes from total legislators who vote.
Meanwhile, his rival, Nurmansjah Lubis from PKS faction only received 17 votes with two votes which declared invalid.
Based on this result, he will officially become the Jakarta Vice Governor after gaining legitimacy from Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).
