The Jakarta Environment Agency has instructed 4,000 officers of Water Agency UPK for 24 hours for cleaning up waste during rainy season, as the extreme weather will still occur until March.

These personnel are assigned to monitor the latest situation and handle waste quickly.
"We also have organic personnel and fleets that routinely do services. They are also prepared to carry out post-flood handling," expressed Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Andono Warih, Friday (2/28).
As for the supporting facilities and infrastructures, which are alerted comprising 44 pick-up cars, 50 dump trucks, 5 spider excavators, 6 long arm excavators, 20 ordinary excavators and 1 liebherr excavator with 23 officers and 12 mechanics.
"We're ready to face the possibility of waste sent from upstream while at the same time securing and helping citizens of Jakarta," he stressed.
