Joint personnel from PPSU, Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-department and SDA Sub-department were deployed to handle inundation at RW 04, Pari Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

Pari Island Urban Village Head, Mahtum conveyed, inundation occurred at RT 02, 03, and 04 of RW 04, Pari Island Urban Village, as high as 30 centimeters.

"We also deployed one unit of pump to pump out water into the sea," he added, Tuesday (2/4).

After draining the settlement area, PPSU personnel were also instructed to make crossing channels (sodetan) in several points that were inundated.

"Now inundation at most points has receded, only one left that is located near the harbor," he informed.
