The Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency (BPD) is going to hold a local tax census in mid-February, which aims to know the current condition of the tax object.

This is an effort to optimize the reception of regional revenue

"This is an effort to optimize the reception of regional revenue," said Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency Head, Sri Haryati, Monday (1/20).

Meanwhile Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency Secretary Pilar Hendrani expressed it will be held for six months with a self-management system involving the participation of state universities.

"To do survey, we involve 1,250 students of Indonesia University," he expressed

To optimize it, his party also cooperates with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where they would help for creating a system in a bid to smoothen its implementation.

He added data collection would begin with land tax objects spread across five areas of Jakarta.

"From the data, we can find out the latest conditions whether on the land stands a billboard or a private home building or place of business that has the potential for new revenue in 2021," he closed.
