Tidung Island Environment (LH) Sub-department personnel cleaned up Tidung Island waters from water hyacinth. Allegedly, those water hyacinth were carried by northwestern current to the sea.
We collect 1 tons of water hyacinth from the sea
Thousand Islands LH Sub-department Head, Djoko Rianto Budi Hartono mentioned, 28 coastal personnel were deployed to clean up the water hyacinth together with urban village PPSU personnel.
"We collect 1 tons of water hyacinth from the sea," he conveyed, Saturday (1/18).
According to him, it was placed in temporary disposal site (TPS) first, while waiting for KM Bersih Laut boat to pick it up.
"For now, we put it at temporary disposal site," he stated.
