Since early November-until now, it has been noted that eight urban villages in Jatinegara Sub-district already have 30 absorption wells. Those wells are precisely built in schools, mosques, parks and on streets.
It is done to prevent inundation and flooding, as well as accommodate rainwater as supplies when dry season comes

Those wells have 1.2 meters diameter and 2 meters depth. From 30 wells, 25 of them have entered finishing stage and five more will be built later.
"It is targeted to be complete next week," he closed.
