The water channel normalization work on Jalan Kartini 8A, Kartini Urban Village, Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta has reached 98 percent.

"Its normalization is done up to 90 meters length," said Sawah Besar Sub-district Water Resources Executing Unit Head, Nanang Gusnadi, Friday (11/29).

The work that has been ongoing since November 18 has a purpose for dredging mud and waste, as well as installing a U-ditch measuring 60x60x120 centimeters.

"To dredge them, we use one unit of excavator plus ten officers," he told.

It is targeted to be finished on November 30. "Right now is entering the finishing stage and will be complete tomorrow," he closed.
