The Pasar Baru Urban Village Dasa Wisma Urban Farming Community, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta harvests 4.7 kilograms of kale, which is cultivated through the hydroponic system.

Pasar Baru Urban Village Urban Farming Dasa Wisama Community Chairperson Ning Wiryana said it is inseparable from the guidance and training provided by the Jakarta Agricultural and Food Security (KPKP) Agency.

"Alhamdulillah, the harvest is very good," she expressed, at the harvest location, Jalan Pintu Besi I, RW 05, Pasar Baru Urban Village, Thursday (11/21).

She explained kale that was harvested was distributed to community members and some others were sold at a price of Rp 10,000 per bunch.

"Proceeds from the sale will be used to buy seeds and further urban farming needs," she explained.

To expand marketing, her side will take advantage of technological developments.

"We'll make an online marketing system. Hopefully, this urban farming can contribute to the welfare of our members," he stated.
