Since April to November 12, the Jagakarsa Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, South Jakarta has built 40 absorption wells at government offices and houses of worship.

Jagakarsa Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Erna disclosed socialization is routinely conducted to residents and cross-sectoral agencies about the importance of making wells.
"If residents do not have sufficient land in their homes, they can make biopore holes," he expressed, Thursday (11/21).
To build wells, the step carried out after digging a hole is the installation of box culverts in two units and covered with concrete slabs that have been perforated.
"We make it like a circle with an average diameter of 1.3 meters and a depth of 2
meters," he stated.
