The Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta is committed to fight diabetes in the region through the Health Awareness Community Movement (Germas).

"There are five percent of diabetics in Jakarta. This is what we want to fight," expressed Palmerah Sub-district Head, Firmanudin, on the sidelines of the National Health Day commemoration event at the Textile Museum, Thursday (11/14).
His party also has been working with the Health Department and Bhakti Mulia Hospital to hold free health services with theme 'Generasi Sehat, Indonesia Unggul'.
Bhakti Mulia Hospital President Director Antonius says his grateful for his involvement in this activity.
"Hopefully we can make a positive contribution," he stated.
His party has sent 30 medical personnel, doctors and nurses to serve patients.
