The Legislative Council (DPRD) members from Bali, North Sumatera, Badung, Kebumen and Tanjung Pinang conducted a working visit (kunker) to study the consultative body (Bamus)'s main tasks and functions (tupoksi) from the Jakarta DPRD.
"They (Bamus) draft the council's agendas and then continued to the plenary session"
Badung Regency DPRD Vice Chairman I Wayan Suyasa disclosed the Bamus' tupoksi is not different from those in the regions, namely setting the agenda of maturity, asking for opinions and giving opportunities to other board fittings.
"They (Bamus) draft the council's agendas and then continued to the plenary session. They can also control the executive and legislative consultations related to laws and bylaws," he expressed, at the Jakarta Council Building, Friday (11/8).
He assessed their performance has been very good thus it gives a positive impact and can be emulated by the DPRD from other regions in Indonesia.
"Surely we appreciate it," he exclaimed.
Jakarta DPRD Secretariat Trial Division Head Nurbaini expressed setting and designing the agenda through Bamus is an obligation that must be applied by the legislative in carrying out various activities.
"If the agenda does not run, it will be consulted with the Bamus. That is mandatory," she said.
