Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission A agreed on Jakarta Employment Board (BKD)'s plan to retain 125,000 Other Individual Service Providers (PJLP) personnel in 2020.
" Process of assessment and work dismissal should be in accordance with SOP"
Commission A Secretary, Dany Anwar stated, as long as PJLP personnel do their job well, council recommends to simplify the annual administrative requirements for PJLP.
"Thus PJLP doesn't required to submit certificate of good conduct, unless some of them are suspected of being not good," he conveyed, Thursday (10/31).
When this program was introduced to public, he explained, not many people interested with PJLP. But because of benefits given to PJLP by Jakarta Government, now residents are interested to join PJLP.
"They get salary based on provincial minimum wage (UMP) and holiday allowance every year. We don't want reduction on PJLP personnel next year, thus Legislative will not correct this proposal," he added.
Meanwhile, Jakarta BKD Head, Chaidir stated, total number of PJLP in Jakarta is 125,000 people, consist of individual contract and K2 honorary employees in various Regional Apparatuses Organizations (OPD).
"We have 11,250 K2 personnel, while the remaining personnel are from PPSU, individual contract who work in SKPDs," he added.
Though there are no reduction on PJLP number, but it needs evaluation of PJLP performance. If PJLP can't work properly, they can be replaced. Including for those who resigned or passed away.
"Process of assessment and work dismissal should be in accordance with SOP. First, we need to coach them internally, then second we will give warning letter," he explained.
