The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi wanted the ranks of Satpol PP be more humane, but also have firmness in carrying out their duties.

I want them (Satpol PP) to be firm

He stated a humanist and persuasive approach is very important to them in order to minimize the potential for physical contact during the operation.

"I want them (Satpol PP) to be firm, not to lose to those who break the rules," he expressed, at Jakarta Council Building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Thursday (10/31) evening.

They are also asked to be able to crack down on massage parlors that are actually misused as a place of prostitution.

"I appreciate, they have already taken actions. This needs to be followed by Satpol PP from other regions in Jakarta," he explained.

Related to the Formula E in 2020, they must also have readiness to help the success of the event.

"It will be held in Monas area. That's why they must be ready to smoothen this international event," he said.
