20,763 Trees in South Jakarta Pruned

The South Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency has noted that as many as 20,763 trees in South Jakarta have been pruned along January to September.

Tree species that have been pruned include Mahogany, Trembesi, Angsana, Glodokan, Tabebuya and Tanjung

South Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency's Green Belt and Cemetery Division Head Bambang Muhirdan targets to prune 30,000 trees this year.

"Tree species that have been pruned include Mahogany, Trembesi, Angsana, Glodokan, Tabebuya and Tanjung. We sent 99 officers to do this," he expressed, Saturday (10/26).

Besides to prevent fallen trees, it is also done for the city's aesthetics.
