Citizens living on Tidung Island, Thousand Islands are now increasingly enjoying the benefits of the JakGrosir complete with cashless transaction facility, namely an electronic data capture (EDC) provided by Bank DKI.

Transactions are safer, no need to bring cash

Tidung Island Urban Village Head Cecep Suryadi disclosed the traders who have the Pasar Jaya Merchant Card (KPPJ) feel the benefits of the EDC machines to facilitate transactions when shopping at JakGrosir.

"Transactions are safer, no need to bring cash, especially for those who have the JakOne app transaction history can be seen immediately," he expressed, Wednesday (10/9).

Nevertheless, locals also request a Bank DKI cash office on their island to save and make transactions. It is because, all this time they have to go to Pramuka Island to get the bank office. While in Thousand Islands, only the Bank DKI has the ATM machine in each urban village.

Nuraeni, a Pramuka Island citizen who owns KJPP said she began to enjoy the JakGrosir. With JakGrosir, she can buy goods at the same price with cashless transactions as on land.

"I just choose and buy, then swipe the card and out the receipt, of course this is very easy without the need to bring money," she told.
