The West Jakarta Environment Sub-agency socializes waste management to 100 students of SDN 16 Duri Kepa, Kebon Jeruk ranging from grades 4 to 6.

" We teach them how to manage waste through waste banks and composters"

There are several ways to reduce waste volume such as using eco-friendly shopping bags, waste banks and composting.

"We teach them how to manage waste through waste banks and composters," expressed Kebon Jeruk Sub-district Environmental Executing Unit Head, Zukli Novadwiyanto, Tuesday (10/8).

His side also teaches the use of eco-friendly tumblers, places to eat and straws.

"We want students, teachers, parents and school guards to be more wise in waste management," he hoped.
