The Thousand Islands Regency continues to intensify the socialization of stunting prevention on Panggang Island, North Thousand Islands. It is participated by 50 cadres of the integrated health service post (Posyandu) from six urban villages.

Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad disclosed stunting prevention could be done starting from the baby still in the womb.
"This is important for them (posyandu cadres) to prevent stunting as early as possible," he expressed, Thursday (10/3).
Meanwhile, Thousand Islands Health Sub-agency's People's Welfare Division Head Sudigdo as a speaker uttered it is held to improve the ability of Posyandu cadres to prevent stunting in their areas.
"Herein we share knowledge about nutrition interventions for pregnant women and toddlers," he stated.
