As many as 267 mosque caretakers (marbut) and 150 people from majelis taklim are facilitated to perform umrah for free.

ue Council (DMI)."Alhamdulillah, I can perform umrah this year. As a marbut, I never thought I can have this opportunity to reach the Holy Land," he expressed happily, Monday (9/30).
Moreover, he continued, participants will be sent off directly by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.
"As a marbut, I truly happy to be able to meet Mr. Anies. Moreover, he also reminds us to take care during umrah in Holy Land," he mentioned.
Other marbut from Taklim Raudatul Jannah Mosque, Nurhayati also conveyed her gratefulness because she didn't expect to have opportunity to perform umrah.
"All of these are blessings from Allah. I never thought before that I can have this chance," she stated.
For information, Jakarta Provincial Government granted funds to DMI as much as RP 18 billion, one of which is used to support marbut in Jakarta to perform umrah.
