The Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency reported that the mud dredging process in the BCT River, Cengkareng has touched 50 percent.
It is targeted to be finish by the end of October
"It is targeted to be finish by the end of October," expressed Raw, Clean and Waste Waters Flood Handling Maintenance Section Head, Imam Prasetyo, Thursday (9/25).
It is carried out up to 1,799 meters length with 1.5 meters depth. To do it, two heavy equipments type long-arm and amphibian excavators have been sent to the location.
"We also have sent dump truck plus 15 personnel. This dredging is part of the effort to overcome the puddles around Taman Palem," he stated.
