The State Electric Company (PLN) of Jakarta Distribution Unit exhibited two units of EV Charging Station during Jakarta E-Prix 2020 in Monas, Central Jakarta.

One unit of the charger is used for display, and the remaining one is used as demo

Senior Manager General Affairs PLN Jakarta, Tris Yanuarsyah, said each capacity of the chargers is 220 volt.

"One unit of the charger is used for display, and the remaining one is used as demo," he said, Friday (9/20).

According to him, EV Charging Station needs 4 hours to be charged from zero percent. But he advises the car should not empty of its power.

"Usually, it takes one hour to charge while the power remains 50 percent," he added.

Tris continued that the customer will get one charging station for the car bought at PLN. His side also plans to add more charging stations in Jakarta.

"The stations will be installed at parks, offices, and shopping centers," he closed.
