Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, joined in electric vehicle convoy in the part of Jakarta E-Prix 2020 from Parkir Timur Senayan heading to Monas, Friday (9/20).

Based on beritajakarta.id observation, Anies rode BMW Roadster i8 together with Formula 2 driver from Indonesia, Sean Gelael.

Siska, one of the organizing committees, admitted there were also other cars such as Lo wo Ireng Electric made by ITS Surabaya, electric Blue Bird taxi, electric motorcycle from Gesits and Selis, and also electric Transjakarta bus.

"The convoy is held to greet Jakarta e-Prix 2020," she said.

Meanwhile, Ken Aditiya, Operation Manager Area Blue Bird, explained his side enlivened the event by deploying 10 electric taxis.

"We deploy 25 units, 10 of them joined in convoy, he closed.
