East Jakarta Mayor, M Anwar, officially launched a Role Model Week for Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax at the TMII Sasono Adiguno Building, on Thursday (8/29).
"From 13 types of tax, we set target at Rp 2.8 trillion"
Through this activity, he targeted to collect tax by Rp 200 billion.
The mayor said that the tax is the largest potential on local revenue (PAD), which is used for financing infrastructure development and governance.
"From 13 types of tax, we set target at Rp 2.8 trillion. Moreover we also manage to absorb the PBB-P2 at Rp 1.1 trillion," he stated.
Seeing this, to avoid fines, he hoped that residents and entrepreneurs to pay off tax obligations before September 16.
Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD) Head, Faizal Syarifudin added, to facilitate taxpayers, his party had already worked with 13 banks, retail companies and start ups as a tax payment channel.
"So no longer a reason for them not to pay taxes," he asserted.
