West Jakarta Mayor Rustam Effendi said that draining process on water channels in 56 urban villages must soon be finished prior to rainy season, on Tuesday (8/27).

"I also asked urban village and sub-district heads to monitor areas prone to inundation," he expressed.

To optimize it, we also already coordinate with West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency.

"Even we'll involve local citizens to maintain the cleanliness of the channel," he stated.
