South Jakarta Mayor Murallah Matali officially led tree plantation on the yard of his office, Jalan Prapanca Raya, Petogongan Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta on Monday (8/19) morning. 

This is one of efforts to support the Governor's program in curbing air pollution in the capital 

The mayor and his ranks planted two plants type ketapang kencana and bisbul classified as rare plants thus it is very good to be cultivated.

"This is one of efforts to support the Governor's program in curbing air pollution in the capital listed in Gubernatorial Instruction No. 66/2019 on air quality control," he expressed, Monday (8/19).

South Jakarta Forestry Sub-agency Head Sabdo Kurnianto added this program will continue to be boosted until sub-districts and urban villages until schools.

"We also distribute plant seeds type mahogany, ketapang kencana, tanjung and so on," he stated.
