North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-department held flag ceremony on Sebira Island's Soccer Field on Saturday (8/17). While some of Gulkarmat personnel installed a huge Indonesian flag at Jaga Utara Lighthouse, Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands.

"8 personnel install Indonesian flag with size 10x12 meters on the lighthouse to spark the spirit of Indonesian independence," asserted Satriadi Gunawan, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-department Head.

His side uses various vertical rescue equipment to support raising the huge Indonesian flag on the lighthouse with height more than 20 meters.

"I hope this can give uniqueness and attractiveness on Indonesian Independence Day moment since it is our first time installing Indonesian Flag on the lighthouse of Sebira Island," he conveyed.
