Pondok Bambu Urban Village Head, Angga Sastra Amidjaya deployed 30 Public Facility Maintenance (PPSU) personnel to help qurban animal slaughtering conducted at Pondok Bambu Urban Village Office, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.
Bamboo basket is cleaner and healthier
In this office, personnel slaughtered 1 cow and 1 goat as Eid al-Adha sacrificial animals. Meat were packed in 250 bamboo baskets and distributed
to the residents who have coupon to exchange it with meat.
"Bamboo basket is cleaner and healthier. Moreover, we use banana leaf on the bottom side of the basket thus the meat looks fresher," he said, Sunday (8/11).
His side uses bamboo basket to pack and distribute the meat in order to replace plastic bags use as instructed by Jakarta Governor's Anies Baswedan.
"We also remind the others to also use bamboo baskets," he added.
