The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has announced that dry season will hit North Jakarta until November.
To face it, the North Jakarta Administration coordinates with the city-owned water operator (PDAM) Jaya will intensify the supply of clean water in the near future.
"We also coordinate with PT Palyja and PT Aetra," said North Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Suroto, Monday (7/29).
It is prioritized in areas that have not yet installed clean water installations such as Tanah Merah, Koja, Kampung Sawah, Cilincing and Kamal Muara, Penjaringan.
Nevertheless, its realization should go through a proposal from local RT/RW and then continued to the clean water suppliers (PT Palyja or PT Aetra) that have authority over its installation
"Therefore people must save on the use of clean water thus the supply is sufficient for all community needs in North Jakarta," he stated.
