Today, Jakarta Youth and Sport Department (Dispora) Head, Achmad Firdaus sends 200 young athletes to compete in five sport competitions: The 22nd Thailand Sports School Games 2019 "Khon Kaen Games"; The 5th Heroes Taekwondo
International Championship 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand; Belt and Road
International Judo Turnament 2019 in Zhejiang, China; Rowing National Championship Between PPLP/PPLPD/SKO 2019 in Jambi; Try Out Sirkuit Nasional A Djarum Sirkuit in
Banjarmasin; and The World Youth Football Tournament Gothia Cup China

They are athletes from Student Sports Training Center (PPOP)
Especially for The 22nd Thailand Sports School Games 2019 "Khon Kaen Games", Jakarta will send their young athletes to compete in athletics, wrestling, sepak takraw (kick volleyball), boxing and men's indoor volleyball.
"They are athletes from Student Sports Training Center (PPOP). They have practiced well and it is time for them to compete with other athletes in various competitions. We hope this chance can be used by PPOP to evaluate their training," he said at Jakarta Dispora Office, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Thursday (7/25).
His side also invites soccer player from Persija Jakarta, Ismed Sofyan and Riko Simanjuntak to motivate the young athletes and officials.
"You should never give up and believe in your strength," he added.
Ismed and Riko also encourage them to have a great confidence, discipline, responsibility, and do their best for their city, family, and nation.
