" We provide 933 food packages here"

Residents line up to buy daily needs at a bazaar that sells cheap subsidized basic foods at Tidung Ceria Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands.

No wonder, all have been sold out within a few hours.

"We provide 933 food packages here," disclosed Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Cecep Suryadi, Thursday (7/18).

This is only dedicated to Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) users, PJLPs, Public Facility Maintenance Agency (PPSU) members and RPTRA caretakers with the requirement to bring Bank DKI ATMs.

Each food package is sold at affordable prices, with details 5 kg of premium rice Rp 30,000, 1 kg of beef Rp 35,000, 1 kg of chicken meat Rp 8,000, 15 eggs Rp 10,000 per kg, 1 kg of mackerel Rp 13,000 and 24 UHT milk Rp 30,000 per each.

"Hopefully it can lighten citizens' burden, especially for underprivileged people," he hoped.
