The historical and cultural training is given to 40 students of senior high school (SMA) in the Kedaton Hall, Pramuka Island, North Thousand Islands.
We want to enrich students' knowledge of history and culture in Thousand Islands
Thousand Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-agency's Administration Sub-agency Head, Neneng Roaneni said that the training that has been held since Monday (7/15) until today also invites Thousand Islands Regent, Husein Murad.
"We want to enrich students' knowledge of history and culture in Thousand Islands," he expressed, Tuesday (7/16).
They are also invited to explore historical tourist islands such as, Onrust Island, Cipir Besar Island, Cipir Kecil Island and Kelor Island.
"They are hoped able to be a generation that understands the history of their own islands and a good promoter," he hoped.
Even, the activity gets an appreciation from Thousand Islands Regent Husein Murad who hopes it would be a provision of skills and knowledge for students.
