Fire training is given to 40 citizens living in RW 03, Pademangan Timur Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, Saturday (6/29).

"We give them a simulation how to handle the fire," expressed North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Satriadi Gunawan. 

His side trains them how to extinguish the fire on the gas stoves using wet sacks and portable fire extinguishers (APAR).

"Our hope is they can do early handling in order to minimize losses," he asserted.

Pademangan Timur Urban Village RW 03 Chairman, Sigit Susanto appreciates this activity and hopes they are more concerned and alert to the dangers of fire.

"Training like this is much needed to know how to do early handling when fire occurs," he said.
