Dike construction for Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) zone 4 at RW 03, which is located beside Panggang Island Urban Village Office, North Thousand Islands, is now entering finishing stage.

Our target is to complete this construction in early June

Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department Head, Ahmad Saiful mentioned, 10 PJLP personnel are deployed to construct it since May 8.

"This dike serves as barrier for IPAL. It protects IPAL from waves and tides thus abrasion can be avoided," he conveyed, Tuesday (5/28).

He informed, this dike has 22 meters long and the casting thickness is around 5-15 cm. For casting, his side uses instant concrete cement, sand, and massive cubes.

"Our target is to complete this construction in early June," he asserted.
