Today, Pasar Baru Residents Receive Free Staple Food Packages

Underprivileged people who live in Pasar Baru Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, received 600 free staple food packages from Budha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation. Each package contains of 10 kg rice, 1 kg cooking oil, and 1 carton instant noodle.

Besides the locals, Pasar Baru Urban Village Head, Agus Yahya mentioned, free staple food packages are also given to 30 Pasar Baru Public Facility Maintenance Agency (PPSU) personnel.

"Behalf of Pasar Baru residents, I convey my gratitude for the assistance given by Budha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation to us, especially ahead of Eid. It means a lot to us," he expressed, Monday (5/27).

In this chance, Budha Tzu Chi Indonesia Foundation holds social service by giving staple food packages to the locals to create harmony and unity in diversity within the City.

"Helping and sharing are good deeds carried out without looking at ethnicity or religion," he added.
