Jakarta Maritime Agriculture cooperates with Food Security (KPKP) Department and Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD)s to sell subsidized foods in 265 locations such as Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s, flats (rusun), and some companies during Ramadan month.
It is more affordable than the market
Jakarta KPKP Department's Food Security Division Head, Mujiati said to sell rice with price Rp 30 thousand per 5 kilograms, meat Rp 35 thousand/kilogram, chicken Rp 8 thousand/kilogram, buffalo meat Rp 30 thousand/kilogram, egg Rp 10 thousand/tray, mackerel Rp 13 thousand/kilogram, and milk Rp 30 thousand/24pcs.
"It is more affordable than the market. We sell those commodities in residential islands such as Harapan Island, Untung Jawa Island, Panggang Island, and Kelapa Island," she explained, Monday (5/20).
Her side is targeted to sell these subsidized foods to owners of Jakarta Pintar Plus Card (KJP Plus), Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ), Worker Card, then PJLP/PHL/PPSU personnel in Jakarta, disabled people, underprivileged PKK cadres, honorary teachers, and non-PNS education personnel.
"We hope selling subsidized foods is not only help those who are in need, but also can maintain food price stability in Jakarta," she conveyed.
