Due to illegal parking, as many as 15 public minivans were netted by personnel of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency assisted by army and police from Jalan Tipar Cakung, Cakung, East Jakarta, Friday (5/10).

"We do this to give deterrent effect to them," expressed East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Supervision and Control Section Head, Slamet Dahlan.

Of 15 public minivans, five out of them were towed from the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency office and ten other vehicles were ticketed.

"We continue to monitor the area to anticipate similar case in the futu re," he said.
